The Staff

J. Edward Ketler, Ed.D


Dr. Ketler is originally from the Philadephia suburb of Bucks County, PA.  He wrestled for two years at Pennsbury High School. Soon after high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps.  While in the service he wrestled in Europe and became certified in the Marine Corps' Martial Arts Program.  After 12 years in the Marine Corps he earned a commission in the U.S. Army and entered the Army National Guard.  Coach Ketler is a certified coach in the State of Florida. He is a certified Bronze and Copper Wrestling coach by USA Wrestling. He was also a U.S. Army Combative's Instructor, a State of Florida Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics Instructor, and a Royce Gracie G.R.A.C.I.E. defensive tactics fighting instructor.  He was a former certified Police academy instructor.  Coach Ketler has trained with Tony Blauer and taken knife fighting courses with Ernie Emerson.  Coach Ketler was an assistant wrestling coach for the Philadelphia PAL for 4 years.

James Mastrobattista


Coach James has over 30 years of wrestling experience.  He wrestled in New Jersery and his accomplishments include a regional championship and being a NJ State qualifier.  He wrestled in college at the D1 level. He has been an assistant coah for the North Florida PAL wrestling team and an assistant coach for the Wiregrass Ranch High School wrestling team.  

Tony Menozi


Coach Menozi is a 3x North Carolina State High School. place winner, placing in the top three to the last two seasons.    He is also the assistant head coach at Wiregrass Ranch High School where he is about to start his 2nd season.  

Khaled Khatib


Coach Khaled is a recent high school graduate.  He recently wrestled at Wiregrass Ranch High School and was the Conference Champion.  He was the District runner up, placed 4th at regionals and was a Florida State qualifier.  Coach Khatib is a current student at the University of Central Florida and wrestles on the Univerity's intramural wrestling club.

John "Tank" Villegas


Coach "Tank" wrestled at Wiregrass Ranch and was a Regional qualifier.  He currently attends the University of Central Florida and wrestles on their intramural wrestling club.



All of our coaches have been cleared through a police background check or via USA Wrestling.  At AWW safety is or #1 priority and concern.  We want all of our parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are being trained by top professionals in the area.
