The Staff

Dr. Ketler is originally from the Philadelphia suburb of Bucks County, PA.  He wrestled for two years at Pennsbury High School under the leadership of Wrestling Hall of Fame Coach Joe Kiefer.  Soon after high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps.  While in the service he wrestled in Europe and became certified in the Marine Corps' Martial Arts Program.  After 12 years in the Marine Corps he earned a commission in the U.S. Army and entered the Army National Guard.  While serving in the Army, Coach Ketler became a certified Army Combatives mixed martial arts instructor.  Coach Ketler is a certified coach in the State of Florida and is a USA Wrestling  Bronze and Copper certified coach.  He was an Assistant Coach at one of Philadelphia's largest youth wrestling programs, the Philadelphia PAL, where he coached for four years.  Coach Ketler was a high liability instructor at the community college's Police Academy and trained law enforcement officers in defensive tactics.  He was a Royce Gracie G.R.A.C.I.E. defensive tactics fighting instructor and has trained with Tony Blauer and taken knife fighting courses with Ernie Emerson.  

Dr. Jacques has been with the team for four years now.  He has a reputation for being "old school tough".  He is a FHSAA 3A State Champ and 2x  State placer.  He was also a 2x Regional Champ, 2x District Champ and 2x Conference Champ.  For Coach Jacques, losing is not an option!    Coach Jacques brings his passion of wrestling to every practice as well of a level of intensity that will motivate even the least motivated of athletes.  Coach Jacques is a protégé and  product of US Olympian Ken Chertow and Coach Chertow;s  tough Pennsylvania style of wrestling.  If you want to get better at wrestling, Coach Jacques will definitely make you better!

All of our coaches have been cleared through a police background check or via USA Wrestling.  At AWW safety is or #1 priority and concern.  We want all of our parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are being trained by top professionals in the area.
